Aviation Warehouse: Implementation of a revenue module

The Aviation Warehouse, which combines data warehousing standards (Oracle, IBM COGNOS…) with specific data models, KPI and aviation dimensions, has now been expanded to include cost/benefit considerations.

Measures such as aircraft and equipment changes implemented by the traffic control center are sketched out and assessed in monetary terms. All measures completed are recorded in a journal and later consolidated into parameters.

The revenue module is in use in the traffic control center and in OBELISK, Deutsche Lufthansa’s operations data warehouse.
