CDM Hub for the Publication of Airport Slot Violations
January 2008
The next release of the CDM Hub STANLY_CDM is put into operation by the German air traffic control (Deutsche Flugsicherung – DFS) to identify the airport slot violations in Germany and to inform the appropriate departments.
Within the interaction of the German air traffic control (Deutsche Flugsicherung – DFS) with the application STANLY_CDM, Eurocontrol with the application IFPS as well as the german aiport coordination with the application SAMS the different data source are integrated.
In this process, missing announcements of airport slots are detected, prepared for the clearing on the part of the airport coordination and thereafter communicated to the responsible flight plan coordinator.
The challenge lays within the consolidation of data of the two systems, ICAO and IATA, that use different identification criteria (callsign, flight number, airport codes, subfleet codes ...).
