GIS Rolled Out to more Stations

Since the end of september the Gate Information Sytem GIS is active at four more german stations. Previously it was already displaying waiting lists and flight informations in FRA and MUC for the gates that handle Lufthansa flights. It delivers general flight and boarding information, the waiting list, and the acceptance list. It allows passengers to monitor directly their position on the waiting list.

From a technical point of view GIS is integrating check-in and flight data. It offers a complete XML-based configuration layer for the paging.
