The system SMAN A-SMGCS, which has been developed in collaboration with our partner ATRICS Advanced Traffic Solutions (www.atrics.de), started its testing at an international airport and is proving itself currently in its first productive use.
SMAN A-SMGCS is licensed by Honeywell for worldwide utilization. Further installations of the system are in preparation.
SMAN A-SMGCS constitutes the head of the A-SMGCS processes and the link to the CDM network at the airport. By consolidating online data the system reproduces a complete and up-to-date picture of the ground traffic at the airport. It supports the controller in his decision making process and helps to avoid incidents and to improve the ground traffic.
