Turnaround Management:
Expanded SLA management module and online KPI
Deutsche Lufthansa has now also implemented the Turnaround Manager, a supply chain management solution for the airline’s critical ground procedures (catering, cleaning, fuelling, crew buses, passenger buses…), at its smaller stations.
This process involved overhauling the SLA Management components, adding Quality as well as Performance and adding further parameters to cope with the various contract structures.
Moreover, the online KPI (Key Performance Indicators) were taken over from the Aviation Warehouse. This facilitates an overview of all processes in real time, i.e. beyond the individual turnaround, which means that major causes (positions, suppliers…) can be identified in all time windows, not only in the current ones. The details can then be retrieved by a single mouse click.
