startrax – Logistics Platform for time:matters

startrax, the operational logistics platform for time:matters premier courier services, is driven by an A:Hub. With it all orders are planned, routed, priced, handled and tracked.

The functionality comprises order entry by service-desk, call-center and e-commerce partners. Shippings can take place by plane, train or car, so route finding and validation is an essential part of the business logic. An interface to Map24 geodata provides perimeter search and distance and time calculations. Flights are looked up via an interface to Amadeus, German trains with a Hafas interface. After a route is found the price is determined offering completely configurable pricing models depending on weights, zones, distances, extras and much more. The notification rule engine sends faxes, emails and telexes to the partners involved in the orders while tracking and irregularity handling covers the transport itself.
